An organization that provides free and confidential one-on-one support to people with cancer by matching them and/or family members with trained volunteers who have themselves undergone and recovered from a similar cancer experience. Focuses on helping patients and family members look beyond the diagnosis, cope with treatment, and start living life to its fullest once again.

• Specifically, the organization matches based on the type of cancer, the similarity of treatment(s), the side effects experienced, and overall demographics (age, gender, etc.)

• The services are not meant to take the place of the support from healthcare professionals. Instead, offers support that complements current medical treatment.
