The Patient Access Network Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing underinsured patients with co-payment assistance through 21 disease-specific funds that give them access to the treatments they need. The Foundation was founded in October 2004 as a solution to help the underinsured access the health care they so desperately need to continue living a relatively normal and productive lifestyle. Since then, PAN has provided more than 60,000 underinsured patients with over $99 million dollars in much needed financial assistance to cover out-of-pocket medical expenses.
